Meeting Prep

One of Pingd's most popular features — get comprehensive meeting prep delivered to you before every call. No more scrambling to review accounts 5 minutes before a meeting.

Getting Meeting Prep

On-Demand

Just ask your agent in Slack:
  • "Prep me for my call with Acme Corp tomorrow"
  • "What should I know before my meeting with Globex?"
  • "Give me a briefing on Widget Inc"

Automatic Meeting Prep

Set up auto-prep to receive briefings before calendar events:
  1. Go to Settings → Agent → Meeting Prep
  2. Toggle on Auto Meeting Prep
  3. Configure timing: receive prep 1 hour, 30 minutes, or 15 minutes before meetings
  4. Filter: prep for all meetings, or only meetings with known accounts

External Data Insights

When you have external data sources connected, meeting prep includes enriched information:

  • Customer Success data (from Snowflake/Redshift) — product usage, health scores, support ticket trends
  • Analytics data (from S3/BigQuery) — feature adoption, engagement metrics, user behavior patterns
  • Financial data (from data warehouses) — payment history, expansion potential, churn risk indicators
  • Marketing data — campaign engagement, content consumption, lead scoring from external systems
This gives you a complete 360-degree view of the account before your meeting, combining CRM relationship data with operational insights from your broader tech stack.

Customizing Meeting Prep

Add custom instructions for meeting prep:

Settings → Agent → Custom Instructions:
For meeting prep:
  • Always include the account's BANT score
  • Show revenue potential in ARR
  • Include the last 3 NPS survey responses if available
  • Flag if the account has any open support tickets

Best Practices

  1. Review prep the night before for important meetings, not 5 minutes prior
  2. Share with colleagues attending the same meeting
  3. Update your CRM after — log meeting notes so future prep is even better
  4. Use follow-up queries — "What questions should I avoid with this account?"
Pro Tip: After a meeting, tell your agent what happened: "The Acme meeting went well — they're moving to Proposal stage and want pricing by Friday." This updates context for future prep and deals.

Meeting Prep for Teams

Managers can get prep for their reps' meetings:

  • "Prep me for my team's QBR tomorrow"
  • "What should I know about the deals my team is presenting?"
This pulls data across multiple accounts and reps to give you a consolidated view.
